Ooh La La!

French Photographer Bruno Dayan brings sensuality and high fashion together effortlessly.

His use of light is consistently interesting and intriguing and of course always beautiful.

His work is provacative, intimate and captivating.  He has a way of making you either want to be a part of the picture, or watch what's happening.  Voyeuristic? Sure. Why not?

Loving. Every. Picture.
Here are some of my faves.  Had a SUPER hard time narrowing this gallery down!

Please go to Bruno Dayan's site to see all his beautiful pictures!

Better Late Than Never!

...To discuss an amazing fashion moment! I was just combing through some old mags from a few months back when I rediscovered this amazing look Penelope Cruz rocked back in February at the Goya Awards (Spain's answer to the Oscars).  This look is timeless, as is Ms. Cruz herself.  I'm LOVING the vintage Gianni Versace column dress.  A dress should look great coming and going and this one knocks it out of the park.  The rear view is still subtle and elegant, but the zipper details add that extra touch.

The Roger Vivier Silver Box Clutch? Spot on.  Chopard jewels add just the right amount of sparkle without taking away from the dress (vintage Versace is art!) And a simple metallic Casadei heel finishes the outfit off perfectly.

I'm so in love with this look, even though she wore it way back on Valentines Day, (ok, so it's 2 months but let's face it, in fashion that's a lifetime), I'm still dying for it.  She always delivers, true. But this look's a stunner.  Just murdering the green carpet.  White Hot? Uhm, yes.
Loving this look and loving you!

A Little Bit Country...

A little Bit Rock'N'Roll??
Seems so these days... Thankfully Country Music's stars have evolved, fashion-wise, and have joined us in the mainstream (for the most part) and watching the red carpet at the Academy of Country Music Awards is actually pretty fun! There's a healthy mix of mega-watt smiles, A-List Celebs, a little bit of glitter and denim (hey, it is Country Music after all), and a lot of glamour.

Here are some of my faves from last weekends awards....happy to say there were definitely more hits than misses this time around!
Jewel and Jennifer Nettles (of Sugarland)

Kristen Bell (Presenting) and Camila Alves

Reba McEntire (Still SUPER hot! right?) and Randy Travis (kind of LOVING that jacket!)

Tim McGraw & Faith Hill
(Country Royalty, right? SUPER Hot!)

Big Winners!
Miranda Lambert, Hillary Scott (Lady Antebellum), & Carrie Underwood

And...in my opinion...the Belle of the Ball...

Taylor Swift
in Marchesa
Love it!

There were some other great looks out there on the super ugly combo of blue and orange carpet (ew, not a lot looks good against that. just sayin'). But these were some of my faves! I was JUST thinking how sad I was that award season is over. This was just the fashion fix I needed. :)
And hey, if being "a little bit country" means looking as great as Faith Hill, count me in!
Next up, Cannes! Can't wait.
If you were at Coachella Color me jealous! Send me some pretty pics of fabulous fashion. I wanna seeee!!
Love you beauties!!!

HOT for HUTTON

Lauren Hutton...one of the original Supermodels continues to inspire fasionistas, models and photographers alike.  Beyond that her ballsy unapologetic attitude and untouchable confidence are encouraging to young women no matter where the beaten path has lead you.

Just a couple of my FAVES from Lauren.  She's a killer, always delivers.

 <----- delish.
                                                         love it.

Rain, Rain...Go Away!

They say "April showers bring May flowers." Well, while we're all waiting for May we should probably be dressing suitably. Running around LA in this sporadic rain has got me thinking about cute rain gear.

I say if you're going to go out and brave the rain might as well look great. Bonus, when you get wherever you're going you're not drenched due to inappropriate wardrobe!

I have always loved galoshes...wellies? Rain boots! So cute! They range in price point, for the purposes of LA I think it's a little ridiculous to spend
any real amount of money on them, but I do love these Hunter Rain boots, sold at Saks Fifth Ave among other places. Cool detail about these boots, the fleece sock is removable. Love a versatile boot. Saks also sells Snake-embossed boot by Hunter that I love, available here!

Slightly pricier option are the Burberry Rain boots, Zappos.Com has them for $225 if you're looking to drop a little dough on the galoshes. I don't know if I would, but I must say the Burberry Plaid once again succeeds. Looks great even in a Rubber Boot!

Some other cute boots....

Beyond the cutie booties there's always jackets and umbrellas to remember!
Here are some faves of mine!

Of course, the go-to for an amazing trenchcoat, Burberry always kills it...

A Burberry Trench Coat is Timeless, well made and an excellent investment. Don't let the pricetag scare you off. If you're going to drop big bucks on a clothing item, this isn't a bad one!

If we have to deal with rain in LA....even if it is sporadic...then we might as well look great doing it. There's not a lot worse than going out in the rain, having your outfit ruined, hair flattened, shoes wrecked, ICK! And with all these fabulous finds, why not be fashionable and dry??

But let's be serious, enough with these showers, I'm fully ready for the flowers and fun!
Love you babies!
