Golden Girl...

Kristen Wiig
American Museum of Natural History's 2010 Museum Gala

I love Kristen Wiig in this gold Martin Grant mini dress! The leopard print heels and red lipstick are the perfect touch. The styling is dead on, the jewels minimal with pulled back hair and dark nail polish...she looks out of this world!

This is a great look for a holiday party this season, the dress is fun and flirty but still completely full of grown up glamour.  Advice, if you're going to go for this look, do like Kristen did and keep the accessories light and in the same tone as the dress. Keep the bag a nice neutral too like this clutch Kristen carried..

And the Winner Is...

I think it's safe to say Young Hollywood is taking the big prize this time around with hosting duties...
By now the news of the newest Academy Award co-hosts has circled the globe and everyone has an opinion...Are they too young? Are they funny enough? Are they too pretty? (OK, nobody said that last one but let's face it, they're both drop dead gorg)

I, for one, am looking forward to seeing Anne Hathaway and James Franco co-host this years telecast. First of all, how adorable was Anne Hathaway when she hopped up on stage in 2009 with then host Hugh Jackman and performed a little song and dance.
2009 Academy Awards

And they've both killed on SNL... besides, change is good, y'all! Sure, an older comedian usually does the job (with a few exceptions) but maybe this is just the jolt the Oscars need....

Let's be serious though, what I'm most looking forward to are the endless couture dresses and priceless jewels making their way down the red carpet. Of course, James Franco on my TV for a few hours doesn't hurt either.
Uhmmm, hello handsome. ------------>

Also, I cannot wait to see what Anne Hathaway wears. She is a total champ on the red carpet and knows how to rock a look with the best of them. So in anticipation of one of the biggest nights in Fashion and certainly Acting...here's a little gallery of some of my favorite Anne Hathaway fashion moments.

I Wanna Be Bad....

Soooo....I have a video to share cupcakes!

My friend and former Pussy Cat Doll Jessica Sutta has her debut solo OUT NOW on iTunes! And i'm not going to go on and on about how hot it is, 'cause that's annoying.

Watch it for yourself.

And when you watch it a second time because once wasn't enough, don't say I didn't warn you. ;)

THE BITCH IS BACK.

Vogue Italia Couture
Model Lara Stone
"The Great Illusion"

Hello lovers.

<------- the bitch.

I've been seriously MIA and owe my biggest kisses and apologies. I've been working over at Dancing With The Stars for a while now and have been in a haze of sequins and spray tan...Two things I obviously love. Working on DWTS has really fed into my love for all things that sparkle and shine.

But while I've been gone from this cozy little spot, the cold weather has totally crept in and gotten comfortable. Sure, in LA we get a little shot of heat here and there (which I cling to desperately), but I'm embracing fall because let's face it, the fashion is killer.

Hang on to your purses and panties cutiepies.

fun in the sun.

Summer Lovin'
Fall fashion is back and better than ever. And I must admit I'm super excited for the tights, boots and sweaters...so many Autumn/Winter lines were truly delicious this year. Butttt, it's still summer!! And as a real California girl, I can't let it go that easily. So I'm still bringing you some fab summer finds.  In LA it seems like there's always a pool party and/or beach day just around the corner.  More often than not these days lead to parties in the night. What's a fashionista to do about her look?? Well, I think the cornerstone of making the transition from day to night go with complete ease can rest right in your arms. That's right, I say get the right bag and you can really make some good moves.

I'm SO in love with this reversible tote from 3.1 Phillip Lim. Not only do you get two fantastic textiles, but it also clips into itself giving you multiple shapes to work with. Having a great slightly over sized tote can be so handy. Throw a bathing suit it, a little make up bag, and a change of shoes and you can rule the world! **or at least the party ;)

I like the canvas side for daytime, it's nice and casual. Somewhere like the beach, sand won't wreck your pretty bag and it's completely appropriate and fashionable. Turn it inside out and you've got a cute feminine lacy handbag! Swoon.

How to Style It??
Pair it with a cute denim dress, flats and cool aviators by day....

finish it off with this knotted ring and don't forget the sunblock. obviously.
with a reversible bag protecting both sides is SUPER important so you can take advantage of both versions, so having handy little cases like the Kate Spade make up tote will have you patting yourself on the back.

By Night...

throw on a cardigan, some wedges and roll on perfume at night and the look is complete. :)

Summer isn't over yet beauties! I'm excited for fall fashion, but I'm going to cling to this summer lovin' as long as I can! Beach bags, sandals and sunscreen are at my fingertips as long as possible...

Marilyn.

"I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best."

Marilyn Monroe continues to be an icon of style, beauty and femininity. So today, on the anniversary of
her death is a little tribute to her life....well, her life in fashion. :)

"Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring."

Marilyn Monroe embodied femininity, sexuality and of course style. She was and still is THE blonde icon. Often imitated, never duplicated. Today I'm remembering Ms. Monroe and might just wear some red lipstick in her honor. ;)

the purrfect pair.

Currently lusting after cat-eyed sunglasses. I'm pretty sure I have to have a pair. I mean, protecting your eyes is totally vital....especially in this blazing hot LA sun. And doing it in style is of utmost importance, right?

Kate Moss....love the whole look. Need the glasses. :) ----->

I'm over the moon for this particular shape. Having been hopelessly devoted to my aviators for ages, it's a bit of a reach to go for another style but change is what nourishes growth. So, me making this investment is really for my own good. You know, to become a more fully formed adult. Also, I just really want them.

<----Sexy Scarlett. Cat-eyed Chic.

I'm pretty sure there's a pair for every face shape...I've taken the liberty of scouring the web and finding a couple of my favorite pairs. If you're like me and find this look particularly to die for, shop this look!

Feminine, chic, classic....Meow!!

underneath it all...

We've heard it a million times...the right bra can make or break an outfit. So by now, women across the globe have gone in and gotten fitted (or at least I hope!) and have t-shirt bras a-plenty. And if you don't, I highly recommend Nordstrom, they're pretty amazing and are currently have they're massive anniversary sale to boot! Back to the point...modern women need a bit more than just a great t-shirt bra to navigate this crazy world.

So my number 5 item in the things women should absolutely have in their wardrobe is a sexy set of lingerie!

Ok...so you don't have to be Heidi Klum, and it doesn't need to be an 11 million dollar set of bra and panties. But finding the right set can make you feel just as sexy as she looks here. And that's the idea. Underneath it all, you should look and feel sexy, confident and like a strong beautiful woman. Sometimes a really beautiful set of bra/panties/underwear/pants/knickers can really do the trick!
(I know people can be picky about how the refer to their unmentionables!)

This essential is all about fit and comfort. So, as I said, if you haven't been sized for a bra that is definitely the first step. It's a quick and painless procedure and can really change the way your entire wardrobe looks.

When shopping this look, go for a bra you love. Where there are beautiful bras, matching panties are sure to follow.  Do you need a set that matches? I say, yes! If you're the only one seeing it, a lot of people are seeing it, or you've got that one special someone...there's something about a matching set of bra/panties that's sexy. And it's something that women get to have, it's our thing! Embrace your femininity and take a walk on the girly side.

Kate Moss. Very Sexy.

Some of my favorite brands are Elle Macpherson Intimates & Wacoal...both are really comfortable and beautiful at the same time.

Confidence is beautiful. Looking great and feeling great go hand in hand. A really beautiful set of lingerie will most certainly lead you down this path!
